Your Confession Shapes Your Destiny

“A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in pictures of silver.” Proverbs 25:11

Are you excited about LIVING or are you merely EXISTING? Every morning YOU can decide on which side of the bed you are going to get out — the side of defeat and discouragement OR the side of victory and strength. HOW? In a word…CONFESSION.

You can determine your future by your WORDS! Physically, you are what you eat. Spiritually, you are what you speak. Words are seeds that produce GOOD or BAD fruit in your life — sometimes sooner than you think. SPEAK your way to really LIVING and shape your destiny by guarding your words in these ways:

1) How you speak about YOURSELF — Be careful; you are God’s creation, and “God don’t make no junk!” We are His workmanship. (See Ephesians 2:10.)

2) How you speak to GOD — Doubt and unbelief dishonors God, while confession of His Word brings salvation and healing. (See Romans 10:10.)

3) How you speak about OTHERS — God loves THEM, also. When you sow life, you reap life; sow judgment (criticism), and you will be judged by the same. (See Matthew 7:2.)

PRAY: “‘Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, 0 Lord, my strength, and my redeemer.’* In Jesus’ Name, I pray. Amen.”
