The Family Church – Seniors Ministry
“With long life will I satisfy him, and show him my salvation.” Psalm 91:16
The Family Church Senior Ministry for members and guests both couples and singles ages 50 and better. Our senior adults are an essential part of many ministries within our church and an important part of our church body. Our purpose is to promote spiritual, physical, intellectual, and emotional growth through a variety of wholesome activities that will stimulate seasoned adults and ensure that they feel loved and included.
The main activity is a Pot Blessing (Covered Dish) meal Monday nights from November through May. This includes a speaker with a word for the group or to tell of their personal God given ministry. Other Activities are also undertaken.
The adults are encouraged have a high level of commitment and dedication to the ministry of The Family Church by sharing their time, experience, knowledge and abilities in Church outreaches and children’s camps and programs and also to participate in Men’s and Women’s Retreats and programs.
