The B-I-B-L-E

“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.” II Timothy 3:16-17

Happily, when Father God gives a command to His people, He always has a plan that will make it possible to achieve. It surely can be inferred by the Apostle Paul’s letter to Timothy that, to be “perfect” in God’s eyes, one must read and believe and act upon the teachings of the Bible – His Word for this age.

Daniel Webster once said: “If we abide by the principles taught in the Bible, our country will prosper. But if we and our posterity neglect the instructions and authority in this book, no man can tell how sudden a catastrophe may overtake us and bury our glory in profound obscurity.”

This is the Book upon which your forefathers drew for drafting the great principles included in the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution. George Washington, the first President of the United States of America, believed: “It is impossible to rightly govern the world without God and the Bible.”

Recall again that Sunday School chorus you may have learned years ago: “The B-I-B-L-E…yes, that’s the Book for me. I stand alone on the Word of God… the B-I-B-L-E!” Read it!
