“And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.” Acts 2:1-2
God wants to send His reviving Wind to those in His Church who are waiting with a spirit of expectancy, waiting in unity, and in tune, as harmonious instruments. He does not send His Wind upon those who are unconcerned, disinterested, distracted, or lukewarm.
It may seem like God moves slowly, but then “suddenly” He comes… in His time. The early disciples were “sitting”…waiting patiently…worshiping. It was the day of Pentecost for the Church, but it was a day of REVIVAL for each one individually. Their hearts were lifted, their hope restored, their preaching anointed, and lives radically changed.
This refreshing Pentecostal Wind is not a one-time event. It should occur regularly, as long as you keep a repentant, expectant heart. At the first Pentecost, the Scripture says God’s Wind “filled all the house.” Let Him “fill” all your house today.
PRAY: “Father, as I worship before Your throne, please send Your Pentecostal Wind throughout my entire being. I need my spirit revived, hope restored, and faith lifted. Thank You, Jesus. Amen.”
