Don't Limit God

“And there we saw the giants, the sons of Anak, which come of the giants: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight.”  Numbers 13:33

In Numbers 13, the Israelites were nearing the land that God had promised them. Moses chose twelve men to go ahead, look it over, and bring back a report. Ten of them came back with a distressing report: “There are GIANTS in the land,” they said. “We’re like grasshoppers in their sight. We cannot take the land!”

However, two men returned with large grape clusters, figs, and pomegranates, declaring that the land was flowing with milk and honey. They said, “Let us go up at once and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it. (Verse 30) And they did!

Maybe you are seeing GIANTS in your path today. In the face of the struggles and crises of your life, you can give up and call the situation impossible…or you can look up and believe that God is able to help you overcome the GIANTS.

Take the limits off God! It is time to stop making puny, inferior plans based on the strength of the enemy.

PRAY: “Father, I know Your Word says, ‘Greater is he that is in (me), than he that is in the world.’* Help me to remember today there is no giant that You and I together cannot handle. I pray in Jesus’ Name. Amen.”
