- Pastor Mike – 03/16/2025
Genesis 8:21 AMPC… The Lord smelled the pleasing odor [a scent of satisfaction to His heart] …
Proverbs 16:7 AMPC When a man’s ways please the Lord, He makes even his enemies to be at peace with him.
Genesis 8:21 AMPC When the Lord smelled the pleasing odor [a scent of satisfaction to His heart], the Lord said to Himself, I will never again curse the ground because of man…
- Genesis 8:22 NKJV “While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, winter and summer, and day and night shall not cease.
Genesis 8:22 NLT “As long as the earth remains, there will be planting and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night.” (Establishing) or (Bringing about)
- “My words bring about an abundant harvest.”
- Romans 4:17 NLT That is what the Scriptures mean when God told him, “I have made you the father of many nations.” This happened because Abraham believed in the God who brings the dead back to life and who creates new things out of nothing. 18 Even when there was no reason for hope, Abraham kept hoping—believing that he would become the father of many nations.
- SEEDTIME & HARVEST - Everything That Exists Came from the WORD of God Through the Soil of The Heart.
- Armed Conflict: Weaken & destroy the enemy. Guerrilla Warfare: irregular warfare; repeated surprise attacks.
- “Whatever Negative or Positive things we say, The Holy Spirit, or an Evil Spirit will either advance toward us or retreat from us.”
- “While the earth remains, in time, my word seed will bring about inspiration, creativity, new ideas, problem-solving, and solutions to everyday challenges from this day forward!”
- 1 Corinthians 10:5 (NKJV) Old Testament Examples 5 But with most of them God was not well pleased… 6 Now these things became our examples…
- 1 Corinthians 10:5 (CJB) Yet with the majority of them God was not pleased, so their bodies were strewn across the desert. 6 Now these things took place as prefigurative historical events, warning us not to set our hearts on evil things as they did.
- The Story of Jephthah (Judges 10 – 12) - (4) NUGGETS OF WISDOM
- Judges 11:2 NKJV Gilead’s wife bore sons; and when his wife’s sons grew up, they drove Jephthah out, and said to him, “You shall have no inheritance in our father’s house, for you are the son of another woman.”
- (1) Faith is the answer for overcoming rejection and healing of negative and abusive words.
- Judges 10:15 CJB - The people of Israel said to Adonai, “We have sinned! Treat us in whatever way seems good to you, but save us today, please!” 16 They got rid of their foreign gods and served Adonai, and he became troubled by Israel's misery.
- Judges 11:9 NKJV So Jephthah said to the elders of Gilead, “If you take me back home to fight against the people of Ammon, and the Lord delivers them to me, shall I be your head?” 10 And the elders of Gilead said to Jephthah, “The Lord will be a witness between us, if we do not do according to your words.”
- (2) God can use Hardships and rejections to mold us into great leaders!
- Judges 11:30 NKJV Jephthah makes a vow
- And Jephthah made a vow to the Lord. He said, “If you give me victory over the Ammonites, 31 I will give to the Lord whatever comes out of my house to meet me when I return in triumph. I will sacrifice it as a burnt offering.”
- Judges 11:34 When Jephthah returned home to Mizpah, his daughter came out to meet him, (his only child) playing on a tambourine and dancing for joy. She was his one and only child; he had no other sons or daughters. 35 When he saw her, he tore his clothes in anguish. “Oh, my daughter!” he cried out. “You have completely destroyed me! You’ve brought disaster on me!
- (3) Never Make a vowel to the Lord that you are not willing or able to keep.
- Ecclesiastes 5:4-8 When you make a vow to God, do not be late in paying it; for He takes no delight in fools. Pay what you vow! It is better that you should not vow than that you should vow and not pay…
- Ecclesiastes 5:6 AMPC …Do not let your speech cause you to sin and do not say in the presence of the messenger of God that it was a mistake. Why should God be angry on account of your voice and destroy the work of your hands?
- Colossians 3:2 AMPC And set your minds and keep them set on what is above (the higher things), not on the things that are on the earth.
- Colossians 3:23 AMPC Whatever may be your task, work at it heartily (from the soul), as [something done] for the Lord and not for men.
- (4) The more the Lord gives you, the more is required of you in return.
- Ephesians 5:3 AMPC But immorality (sexual vice) and all impurity [of lustful, rich, wasteful living] or greediness must not even be named among you, as is fitting and proper among saints (God’s consecrated people). 4 Let there be no filthiness (obscenity, indecency) nor foolish and sinful (silly and corrupt) talk, nor coarse jesting, which are not fitting or becoming; but instead voice your thankfulness [to God].
- Isaiah 60:1 KJV Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee. 2 For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the Lord shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.
- Isaiah 60:1 AMPC Arise [from the depression and prostration in which circumstances have kept you—rise to a new life]! Shine (be radiant with the glory of the Lord), for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you!
