I Samuel 30:1-20 (David at Ziklag) – lost everything: his home, finances, family… and found a way to recover it all.

- David Wept Aloud (v.4)
- They “wept until they had no more power to weep.” (go ahead and weep!)
- Ecclesiastes 3:4 "There is a time to weep… a time to mourn…”
- Medical fact: Tears have healing quality for stress, sadness, grief, anxiety.
- Psalm 30:5 “Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.”
- II Sam. 5:24 – In Valley of Rephaim (giants), camped under Mulberry Trees (Heb: Baka tree – “weeping”) “When you hear the sound of marching in the tops of the mulberry trees… advance quickly for the victory”
- David Encouraged Himself in the Lord his God (v.6)
- Focus on your God and not your circumstances

- David got a Word from God (v.8)

- David Recovered all (v.18-20)
