God has put us on a Mission – And it’s not an impossible one!
· Matthew 19:26 “With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.”
· James 1:22 “But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving our own selves.”
· II Timothy 3:5 “Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. (7) Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.”
· Knowledge – Academic knowledge vrs. experiential, participative knowledge
· Acts 10:38 “God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power: who went about doing good and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.”
· Mark 16:15 “He said to them, Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation. (20) And they went forth, and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following.”
7-Step Pattern – For sharing your Faith
1. Smile - Create a friendly atmosphere
2. Engage Conversation - Talk to people
· Romans 10:14 “How then shall they call on Him in who they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher?”
· Your silent witness is not enough
3. Discover Their Need - Attentively listen
4. Offer Prayer - Impartation
· Mark 16:18 “They shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.”
· Become a Lightening Rod for Heaven!
· II Corinthians 5:13-14 “We may be out of our minds… but it is the love of Christ that compels us to tell others…”
5. Use Discernment - Listen to hear God
· Romans 8:26 (NIV) “In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express.”
6. Share Christ - Salvation
· Romans 10:9 “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”

7. Make an Appointment - Discipleship
· II Corinthians 5:20 (NIV) “We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making His appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God.”
· John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
