The Work of the Holy Spirit

“And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.”  Genesis 1:2

Understand the work of the Holy Spirit, learn to know Him as a PERSON…not a dove, wisp of smoke, cloud, haze, influence, or special power. He is the PERSON of the Trinity, equal with the Father and the Son, with whom you can enjoy a personal relationship.

No one can see the face of God the Father and live (Exodus 33:20), and the Son sits at the Father’s right hand (Luke 22:69), so the Spirit resides in your spirit (John 14:17). As you make your request TO the Father (Source), THROUGH the Son (Administrator), the Spirit manifests God to you in these ways:

1)  SPEAKS. Revelation 2:7; Matthew 10:20
2)  GUIDES. Romans 8:14
3)  WITNESSES. Romans 8:16
4)  TEACHES. John 14:26
5)  COMFORTS. Acts 9:31
6)  ANOINTS. I John 2:27
7)  REVEALS. II Peter 1:21
8)  FELLOWSHIPS. Philippians 2:1; II Corinthians 13:14
9)  LOVES. Romans 15:30
10) PROTECTS. Isaiah 59:19
11) INTERCEDES. Romans 8:26
