The Prayer of Agreement

“Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.”  Matthew 18:19

There is power in the prayer of agreement! There is a special breakthrough in the spirit realm when two or more believers consent to join forces in prayer together.  The Holy Spirit was given to the church in greater measure when “they were all with one accord in one place” (Acts 2:1).

In the Old Testament, Deuteronomy 32:29-30a, there was recorded a tenfold increase: “0 that they were wise, that they understood this, that they would consider their latter end.  How should one chase a thousand, and two put ten thousand to flight…”

It is God’s desire to have his children walk together and with Him in agreement, for in Amos 3:3 He asked:  “Can two walk together, except they be agreed?” YOU make the choice.

PRAY: “Holy Father, to be out of agreement with You is to be living on dangerous ground. Keep me under Your banner of protection. Direct my path toward prayer partners who are in agreement with You and Your Word. In Jesus’ name, amen.”
