“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” Romans 8:28 (NIV)
Many people have struggled with this Scripture, thinking that God orchestrates negative situations for their “good.” However, is that what this verse really is saying? Perhaps it is interpreted better in these words:
“In the lives of those who love Him, God always takes what Satan means for evil and turns it around for good.” Romans 8:29-30 (NIV) says: God…
1) Foreknew you.
2) Predestined you.
3) Called you.
4) Justified you.
5) Glorified you.
God did all these things for you because you have been called for a purpose.. . God’s purpose. “In him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will, in order that we, who were the first to hope in Christ, might be for the praise of his glory.” (Ephesians 1:11, NIV)
Allow God to direct and redirect you so that His purpose can be fulfilled in your life.
PRAY:
“Dear heavenly Father, when I am reminded of all that You do for me and when I realize the purpose for which I was created, all my fears vanish. Thank You so much. Amen.”
