“And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.” Galatians 6:9

Are you waiting for your “ship to come in?” You have worked hard to be kind and loving to all those around you…even your enemies. You have had your share of disappointments. Now you are looking for the rewards that God promises to all those who faithfully do His will.

Well, keep looking. They will surely come. “In due season” means in the “proper” season…in God’s season.

The law of reaping what you sow is as real as the law of gravity. Galatians 6:7 says: “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.” God is not in a hurry, but He runs a tight ship!

All that goodness and kindness is going to come back to you in the form of answers to your deepest needs. Remember, GOD SEES WHAT YOU ARE SOWING. He is keeping score and has a grand trophy for you.

So don’t give up…don’t give in…don’t get “weary in well doing,” because the harvest is coming!

PRAY: “Heavenly Father, help me to be patient with Your timetable on rewards. I will continue to do Your will from my heart to help others in need. Let Your countenance be upon my face. I pray in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
