“But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared…That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.” Titus 3:4, 7

Hebrews 11:13 speaks about the great men and women of old who “all died in faith, not having received the promises [of God, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.”

You must also embrace this confidence in God, even if that prayer is yet unanswered or that healing is yet incomplete, knowing that the struggles of this earth are less important than your promise afar off…ETERNITY.

This world is not your home; you are just passing through on your way to a heavenly city that God has prepared for you. “But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city.” (Verse 16)

Remember, God will limit and control the extent of your testing while here on earth. He will not let you be tested beyond what you can bear, and He will also provide a way out (an answer or escape) so you can bear it. (See I Corinthians 10:13.)

PRAY: “My hope is in You, Lord, and my strength is in You. I am fully persuaded of Your promise of eternal life, and I confess I am just a pilgrim in this world. Amen.”
