Feasts Leviticus 23:2
“Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, Concerning the feasts of the Lord, which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations, even these are my feasts.”
The Word “Convocations” (#4744) is the Hebrew Word Miqra and it means the following:
- Something called out
- A public meeting
- A rehearsal
The Fall Feasts:
- Trumpets
- Day of Atonement
- Tabernacles
We will continue to rehearse the feasts until Yeshua fulfills the Fall Feasts.

The Feast Days including the Sabbath, show all of Mankind two things:
- Man has divine appointments to meet with his Creator.
- They show the redemptive plan of the Creator for His creation.
The Feast of Tabernacles is the final feast that is celebrated.
The Feast of Tabernacles can be found in Leviticus 23:39-43.
Tabernacles Leviticus 23:39
“Also in the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when ye have gathered in the fruit of the land, ye shall keep a feast unto the LORD seven days: on the first day shall be a sabbath, and on the eighth day shall be a sabbath.”
The Feast of Tabernacles is celebrated in the seventh month on the fifteenth day for seven days.

“Tabernacles in the past is to remember how God brought the children of Israel out of Egypt and had them live in temporary shelters (booths) while traveling in the wilderness.”
Booths Leviticus 23:42-43
“Ye shall dwell in booths seven days; all that are Israelites born shall dwell in booths: That your generations may know that I made the children of Israel to dwell in booths, when I brought them out of the land of Egypt: I am the LORD your God.”
King Solomon dedicated the temple during Tabernacles (Sukkot).
Seventh Month 1 Kings 8:2
“And all the men of Israel assembled themselves unto king Solomon at the feast in the month Ethanim, which is the seventh month.”
Seven Days 2 Chronicles 7:8-9
“8Also at the same time Solomon kept the feast seven days, and all Israel with him, a very great congregation, from the entering in of Hamath unto the river of Egypt. …

…9And in the eighth day they made a solemn assembly: for they kept the dedication of the altar seven days, and the feast seven days.”
Eighth Great Day
“In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.” John 7:37-38
The Prophet Nehemiah played a big part in the restoration of not only the rebuilding of the walls of Jerusalem but the Feast of Tabernacles as well.
Booths Nehemiah 8:14-15
“14 And they found written in the law which the LORD had commanded by Moses, that the children of Israel should dwell in booths in the feast of the seventh month: 15And that they should publish and proclaim in all their cities, and in Jerusalem, saying, Go forth unto the mount, and fetch olive branches, and pine branches, and myrtle branches, and palm branches, and branches of thick trees, to make booths, as it is written.”
The Feast of Tabernacles should be celebrated today.
Seven Days Leviticus 23:41
“And ye shall keep it a feast unto the LORD seven days in the year. It shall be a statute for ever in your generations: ye shall celebrate it in the seventh month.”

The Feast of Tabernacles is also called the Season of our Joy because it follows the Season of Repentance.

“And ye shall take you on the first day the boughs of goodly trees, branches of palm trees, and the boughs of thick trees, and willows of the brook; and ye shall rejoice before the LORD your God seven days.”
The Feast of Tabernacles will be celebrated in the future:
