Take control of being overwhelmed, confused, and anxious. Atychiphobia: Fear of failure.

2 Timothy 1:7 NKJV For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

2 Timothy 1:7 (Complete Jewish Bible – CJB) For God gave us a Spirit who produces NOT timidity. (Worry, fear, anxiety, and indecision).

Read together: For God gave me a Spirit who produces not worry, not fear, not anxiety, not indecisions, but my spirit produces power for me & love, & Self-control for me!

Take Control means to assert authority, manage every situation, and dominate every aspect of life. How do we gain mastery over our emotions and actions? We Change the way we think about things.

Why is it possible not to be worried or troubled about everyday life? Because Jesus said that we are in control.

John 14: Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. (KJV) Do not let your hearts be troubled (distressed, agitated). AMPC

Matthew Henry Commentary –Sermon on the Mount There is scarcely any one sin against which our Lord Jesus more largely and earnestly warns his disciples… than the sin of disquieting, distracting, distrustful cares about the things of life, which are a bad sign that both the treasure and the heart are on the earth; and therefore, he thus largely insists upon it.

Matthew 6:22 NLT: “Your eye is like a lamp that provides light for your body. When your eye is healthy, your whole body is filled with light. 23 But when your eye is unhealthy, your whole body is filled with darkness. And if the light you think you have is actually darkness, how deep that darkness is!

Matthew 6:25 Therefore I say unto you, take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what

ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not life more than meat, and is the body more than raiment?

25 Therefore, I tell you, stop being perpetually uneasy (anxious and worried) about your life… AMPCThat is why I tell you not to worry about everyday life—whether you have enough food and drink, or enough clothes to wear. NLT

Be diligent to know the state of your flocks, and attend to your herds; Proverbs 27:23 Pay close attention to detail to know the state of your flocks, and attend to your herds; Proverbs 27:23

2 Corinthians 11:25-33 NKJV (Concerned about the Kingdom things) Three times I was beaten with rods; once I was stoned; three times I was shipwrecked; a night and a day I have been in the deep; 26 in journeys often, in perils of waters, in perils of robbers, in perils of my own countrymen, in perils of the Gentiles, in perils in the city, in perils in the wilderness, in perils in the sea, in perils among false brethren;

27 in weariness and toil, in sleeplessness often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, in cold and nakedness— 28 besides the other things, what comes upon me daily: my deep concern for all the churches. 29 Who is weak, and I am not weak? Who is made to stumble, and I do not burn with indignation?

Matthew 6:26 NKJV Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? 27 Which of you, by worrying, can add one cubit to his stature?

27 Which of you, by worrying, can add one cubit to his stature? Worry: To be harassed by pursuit and barking, as dogs worry sheep, followed by fatigue. Webster 1828 dictionary

28 “So why do you worry about clothing? Consider (Fix your mind on and take a careful examination by meditating) the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; 29 and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.

30 Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? (Anxiety, worry & fear are all about the “faith question.”)

A Demon-Possessed Boy is Healed - Matthew 17:14 (NKJV) 14 And when they had come to the multitude, a man came to Him, kneeling down to Him and saying, 15 “Lord, have mercy on my son, for he is an epileptic and suffers severely; for he often falls into the fire and often into the water. 16 So I brought him to Your disciples, but they could not cure him.” 17 Then Jesus answered and said, “O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I bear with you? Bring him here to Me.” 18 And Jesus rebuked the demon, and it came out of him, and the child was cured from that very hour.

19 Then the disciples came to Jesus privately and said, “Why could we not cast it out?” 20 So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you. 21 However, this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.”

Romans 3:27 NKJV Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? Of works? No, but by the law of faith.

Luke 22:31 NKJV (Satan desires to squeeze the life out of Peter) And the Lord said, “Simon, Simon! Indeed, Satan has asked for you, that he may sift you as wheat. 32 But I have prayed for you, that your faith should not fail.

Matthew 6:31 KJV Therefore take no thought, saying, what shall we eat? or what shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?

Let them shout for joy and be glad, who favor my righteous cause; And let them say continually, “Let the Lord be magnified, who has pleasure in the prosperity of His servant.” Psalm 35:27 NKJV

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. Psalm 23:4

31 “So, don’t worry about these things, saying, ‘What will we eat? What will we drink? What will we wear?’ 32 These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers, but your heavenly Father already knows all your needs.

Matthew 6:33 KJV But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Exodus 9:16 The Lord spoke to Moses -7th plague Hail

“For such a time as this.” But indeed, for this purpose I have raised you up, that I may show My power in you, and that My name may be declared in all the earth.

Exodus 9:22 Then the Lord said to Moses, “Stretch out your hand toward heaven, that there may be hail in all the land…
